When people ask me why I teach, my answer is simple...
I can't imagine doing anything else. I love what I do. I am a motivator of students. I believe in the potential of every student and know that the best way to teach is through example and accountability. As an educator, my first priority is to teach my students the things they need to know to be successful, both in school and in life. Without education a person is powerless. I believe firmly in empowering students to achieve the skills they need so they can reach for the dreams they desire. As a media specialist I am given a unique opportunity to serve the entire school community through relationships with students, collaboration with teachers, and connections with parents. |
